Moving:
NEVER move your pool table fully assembled ! It doesn't matter how many people you have to move it, when moving fully assembled you will usually crack the pool table rails or the slate playing surface . We've had a few people over the years who didn't believe this, and learned the hard way. Let us do the work for you.
Refelting:
Our standard cloth is a quality wool/nylon blend 21-22oz, teflon coated felt. We also offer an upgraded felt option, which we would recommend if your pool table is located in a commercial setting. Felt colors here
Bumper cushion replacement:
We completely remove the old bumpers and glue. We then re-glue new bumper cushions all the way around, matching bumpers to the rail profile with perfection. Most pool tables today will require a K66 profile cushion or a K55. Most re-cushion jobs take approximately 2 hours to complete.
Pocket replacement:
There are a variety of pocket styles, but generally we can supply pockets for just about any pool table. There are some instances when we can repair a pocket, but usually, once a pocket is ripped or very worn, it requires replacing. We use leather pockets for most tables unless your pool table requires a hard plastic pocket or other. Pockets here
Crating:
Most of the crating we do is for pool tables being moved out of state, which helps minimize possibilities of the slates bouncing around during the long drive. When moving from city to city, generally the padding we use will be sufficient, to protect all the components of your pool table. When crating, we usually crate the slate only and bubble-wrap the other components of the pool table. Give us a call, and we'll figure out what would work best for your pool table.
Assembly:
The average pool table (not antique or custom made) assembly takes approximately 2.5 hours to complete. We'll use all the proper materials and tools. We'll level the pool table frame and slates perfectly, seam the slates together, install all hardware, and install your felt. We wont leave until it's perfect.
Slate repair:
Many times we can fix a small fracture in the slate. We can fill a crack with billiard wax. If your slate is broken in multiple pieces or missing a large piece, we'd recommend just replacing the slate. The cost will vary depending on the style/brand/size of the pool table. Never move your pool table fully assembled, even a few feet. Why risk breaking your slate it?
